Service first. Product later. You need to understand the problem before you productize the solution. Most failed products come from people who never served the customer directly.

It failed. Then I offered the same thing as a service. It worked. Then I productized the service. The product succeeded the second time because I understood the customer journey.

I needed ten clients to see the patterns. Less than that and I would have productized the wrong thing. More than that and I would have been too comfortable to change.

Product or service, I prefer services since I like dealing with clients. But more important is your noche you are going after. I Tested 3 niches in 18 months. The one that stuck?
