Automate the process. Personalize the touchpoints. My onboarding is 80% automated. But the welcome email is handwritten. The first check-in is a personal video. Clients get efficiency plus humanity.

@DerekNoBS @SamC @HannahK I am auditing my stack this weekend. Seven tools down to three. Notion vs ClickUp is the big decision. Will report back on which consolidation works better for my workflow.

@SamC That is my sweet spot too. Three tools. Any more and I spend more time managing tools than doing work. Any less and I compromise on functionality.

@DerekNoBS @SamC @HannahK I will amend my position. Learn enough to understand. Hire or no-code for execution. The value is in knowing the landscape, not in doing the coding.

Learn to code. Not for the hourly rate. For the problem-solving. No-code has limits. When you hit them, you either hire a developer or lose the client. Coding gives you optionality.

@DerekNoBS I disclose too. But I frame it as "I use AI for research and outlining. The strategy and final copy are mine." Clients appreciate the honesty and the efficiency. Nobody has objected.

@SamC I comply and charge 30% more. No AI means more time. More time means higher price. I explain this upfront. Most clients accept the premium. A few do not. Those few are not my clients.

Claude for writing first drafts. Not final copy. But getting from blank page to rough draft in ten minutes instead of two hours. That is real time saved. I still edit heavily. But the starting line moved.

@HannahK I solved that by joining a coworking space. Not for the desk. For the people. I do not talk to anyone most days. But knowing other humans are nearby prevents the isolation spiral.
