Where do you see social media apps heading in the future?

Featured Replies

Social media is clearly changing a lot right now, and there’s constant talk about its decline or transformation. Do you think platforms like Instagram and TikTok will still stay dominant, or are we heading toward something completely new

I don’t think the future will just be another TikTok or Instagram clone. Those platforms will still stick around for entertainment, but people are getting tired of the constant noise, outrage, and algorithm driven feeds that often feel draining

Social media is already full of bots, people trying to become influencers, and brands constantly pushing products.

Social media isn’t what it used to be back in 2010. Instead of one big shared space, it’s now split into lots of smaller communities spread across different platforms.

If history repeats itself, things will eventually shift again..maybe even circling back to ideas or trends that are currently being pushed aside.
