Am I the only one feeling like ChatGPT has become kind of irritating lately?

Featured Replies

It often feels like ChatGPT interrupts a good conversation with unnecessary advice or feedback that wasn’t asked for, and even after being corrected it repeats the same pattern. When I point it out, it agrees it will stop, but then the same issue shows up again a few messages later. It’s frustrating because it doesn’t seem to consistently learn from feedback in the moment

@Rena Yeah, Claude has started doing this a lot over the past month..it’s honestly really annoying.

It feels worse now. I’ll ask something simple about weight loss or job searching, and it ends up sounding discouraging, like it’s trying to lower expectations instead of just answering. It didn’t used to be like this before.

Used AI to write a sales page. It was decent. I rewrote it. The AI draft saved me 2 hours of staring at a blank page.

AI wrote a draft for me. I hated it. Then I realized I hated it because it was safe. I made it braver. AI + human edge.

Honestly, if it feels that bad, it might be better to switch to something like Smophy AI or another platform where you can try multiple LLMs and pick the response you like best. ChatGPT just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Using ChatGPT can sometimes feel like it’s doing the thinking for you instead of letting you work things out on your own, which can be frustrating.
