Which AI model is best for multitasking?

Featured Replies

It seems like a lot of people default to ChatGPT and I have been using it, and I like it...

But I want to see what other options are out there. I am sure there are probably better AI models for what I am looking to do. Even if I have to use a few of them for different things, I am okay with that. There are just so many now that I don't even know where to look or start. Ideally, I find one that can do everything I need but I am okay, like I said, with using a few different ones if I have to.

I can tell you there is no clear answer for this. Different models focus on different things.

Claude Opus 4.7 for example is best for coding and agentic workflows while Gemini 3.1 Pro is best for research and reasoning. I think overall everyone will say the most well-rounded choice is ChatGPT. I think Grok also has its uses too.

I don't think I ever used Grok. Well, outside of maybe asking to verify a few things I was reading when I was on X. I will have to try it more. I am not really a fan of Gemini. I don't think I tried Claude Opus so I will take a look at that one too.

Isn't ChatGPT under fire right now because of OpenAI's ongoing legal issues? I am fairly certain they own it but I could be wrong.

Either way, of the ones I have used, it is the best for doing everything. I think for video and pictures though, as well as voice/music you have better options but for what you are after, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Claude allows you to customize your experience when you pay for it. You can name your own AI agent and have it be tailored to you and it tracks everything for you so you don't need to remember to keep asking. It is quite neat!

Any AI really can help if you know how to use it. I don't think most people do. You have to know how to run prompts and focus a driving narrative with the AI so it ends up working the way you want it to. There are YouTube videos that teach you how to do it.

Hmm. That is interesting. Do you know how much it is to get those sort of features by chance? I was reading something about it online, the person was saying it has replaced them using Google entirely.

It depends. I mean I know they have a $20 plan or at least did last I looked into it. They also have a free variation but to access all the special features, I would imagine that is locked behind their $200 a month plan.

It looks like the $25/$20 monthly plan gives you access to the Opus model and allows for daily use with higher limit thresholds.

I might try it for a month and see what I think. It is $20 if you pay for the year, otherwise $25 month to month.
