My website will have a blog and recommend products via blog posts to readers and clients as my business is one of virtual services. I am curious to see what others are using in terms of affiliate marketing in 2026. I want to see if there is anything else I can add just to boost revenue a bit.

I was considering doing that for some of my sites to hopefully bring in some revenue. I know a lot of people do it for blogs. I am just not sure how to actually get one started. I am also curious about other affiliate marketing. I heard it doesn't perform as well today as it did say 10 years ago in terms of revenue.

If you get approved, they will mail you a physical code. I have gotten approved but my code had gone missing TWICE! This was annoying. I am not sure why they physically mail you something. I guess so they have a physical address tied to your business maybe?

They just check your website and make sure it is something they want to partner with. I don't even think they check for traffic numbers or anything like that.

That was easier than I thought. I know last time I tried, for some reason it wouldn't work but this was a number of years ago.I was looking into other options too so figured I would share what I found. ClickBank, ShareASale, and CJ Affiliate are regarded as good options outside of Amazon Associates.

Are they all similar? I might have to play around with them and see if I could get approved for anything on any of my websites.

It can be as good as 50% or as low/bad as 3% but if the product/service is more expensive, 3% could still be a lot. ShareASale seems to have shut down and was moved over to Awin platform. I don't know much about them.

So I think it is best to avoid them. Based on what I have read anyways.

I did see some negative stuff about the company but most people seemed to be happy with it. So I am not entirely sure what happened. It is gone now though and part of that other platform.
