  2. I was looking at support ticket systems and came across osTicket. It is free and opensource which I prefer personally, anything to cut the budget and have more control. Anyways, I am wondering if anyone here has used it. I have no experience with it, I am just wondering if it is any good.
  3. I tried using different software, tools, etc. and I end up just over-complicating things for myself to the point where it drags my productivity WAY down. I just stick with using a few things at a time depending on what I am working on and it just works better for me. I still use a physical notebook for brainstorming and taking notes too.
  4. OfferUp is one that comes to mind. It is an app. Not sure if you would count it but eBay as well. I don't know of a niche specific one that allows people to sell items though. You might have a good idea here. Just keep working with it.
  5. I think this can work for certain niches but not everything gains a benefit from this. If you put too much information out there at once, I think it takes longer for the search engines to categorize everything.
  6. I think it is fine to use early on. I don't think it matters if you use it on and off again just so long as you don't use it too much later on. I wouldn't use it for a website that is older than 6 months personally.
  7. I noticed offering less but higher quality is almost always more. You can see this in all forms of business too. The most successful small businesses focus on one set of things they offer at great quality and it really helps to boost customers/traffic/sales.
  8. You apply for it. If you get approved, they will mail you a physical code. I have gotten approved but my code had gone missing TWICE! This was annoying. I am not sure why they physically mail you something. I guess so they have a physical address tied to your business maybe?
  9. Do you mean prior to starting my work, what I do each morning? I always start my day off by having a coffee outside in the sun or at least where I can get fresh air if the sun is now out. I will sit out there 10 to 30 minutes depending on the temp. This helps wake me up and get my brain going. Then I will show and brainstorm while I am in there. I have a small breakfast after this before getting to work!
  10. I think drafting is fine. So long as what you deliver is the final product of your work, I don't see the issue with it. I have used it to tweak things and get ideas from different perspectives and it helps keep my ideas and flow going.
  11. So I was thinking about this. My traffic dropped off massively on my sites around the same time. I have tried several things to fix it but nothing has. I know AI has been around longer than just the last few years. People have been using it online since at least 2012 I would say. Is there a chance that the traffic I was getting wasn't real but some form of AI the entire time? I mean I know real people were behind some of it but it just seems weird that it suddenly just all disappears.
  12. I have tried updating the images and videos, changed SEO on the back end for everything making sure everything had descriptions. I have tried redoing entire pages. I have tried sharing them on every social platform there is. It just seems like my site is intentionally being blocked or something. Or the traffic I was getting in the first place wasn't even real?
  13. I have 6 different websites. Without getting into the weeds and details of each one, I was successfully making a living off ad revenue from them. My traffic dropped substantially about 5 years ago and I have not been able to recover it. I have tried doing what other suggest in order to rank better on Google. Nothing stuck. I am wondering if maybe people using AI has hindered traffic to my sites? I don't know. I am at a loss. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you found a way to fix it?
  14. Hi people. My name is TJ. I have several sites that I have been running and managing for close to 20 years now. I was making a good revenue stream from them thanks to ads but in the last 5 years, the traffic dropped and so did the revenue. I went from bringing in close to $8,000 monthly (from all sites combined) to not even getting $2,000. The drop happened suddenly and I have been doing everything I could to fix it. I ended up having to go back to office work in 2024 because I couldn't sustain my life on less than $2,000 a month. I want to get my websites earning revenue again like before but no matter what I have tried thus far, nothing is helping. I am joining the forum hoping to get some advice as I am honestly at a loss. I have even tried asking AI and while the responses are good in theory, a lot of what it suggests just doesn't work.
