If you build your own business from scratch, what type of model would you choose

If you had enough money to start your own business, how would you make it profitable and make it grow?

A subscription model is best. It gives steady income and supports high quality journalism with loyal readers. Many big news sites are late to subscriptions, so people used to free, ad heavy news may not start paying. But if content is paid from the beginning, readers might accept it more easily

A nonprofit model with a clear mission. Funded by donations and corporate support, plus events and ads for extra income. This isn’t just theory..we started it 4 years ago, and it’s working.

I’d start simple with a service or product that solves a real problem, then build multiple income streams over time like ads or partnerships to scale it.

I write for SaaS now. Used to write for everyone. The shift took 6 months of no income. Now I make 3x more in half the time.

I’d focus on a freemium model..give something free to attract users, then charge for premium features once people see the value.

Product vs service? I do both. Service pays now. Product pays later. Combo keeps me sane and solvent.
