A lot of it is low-quality stuff too. The issue is that because it can be generated so fast, it is taking over platforms. Any time I search for anything on YouTube, X, Reddit, ect. Ever other result seems to have AI involved. For people that rely on social media for their business or income stream, how do you compete with this? Can you use AI to compete with AI?

The key isn't to focus on AI but rather to leverage it as a multiplier for human capabilities. So take tasks people would normally do, and have AI do it them. So this will cut down on time and allow you to make more content.

I am just not as versed on how to do this. You don't want to end up making low-quality AI stuff yourself!

So yeah, you can use it to compete with AI but it really comes down to what you are creating and wanting to produce with it. AI is still in a position where people can create better things and it still gets a lot wrong but it is quickly catching up, and that is what worries me.
