What is the hardest part of running an online business that nobody talks about
For me, it was time investment. You have to be willing to invest a good amount of time and it will almost always be unpaid. This is especially true when you are at the starting line or your business is still in its infancy.

How do you keep up with AI changes without getting overwhelmed
Ironically enough, AI. LOL! I ask AI to give me updates on advancements and things changed on all or certain AI systems. There are a lot of useless AI models so I wouldn't bother with most of them. Just focus on the big 3 to 5 ones.

Is Rumble worth it?
Rumble has the potential to be great if they stopped pushing politics so much and fixed their algorithm and search engine. I have been wanting a YouTube alternative for years and I want to like Rumble but I just can't get into using it with these annoyances. I am not sure if it is worth it or not for content creators BUT they do allow you to put content you do on YouTube on their platform, may as well do both right?

Is it worth learning to code or should freelancers stay no-code
I think this depends on what kind of work you do. Yes, being able to code can help you make custom websites, apps, etc. for your business and save you the cost of having to pay someone else but how realistic is it for most people to need such a skill?

Quite chasing broad audience and started serving one specific type of person
I think it is a good idea to find the kind of audience or client base you want and go all in. Trying to please everyone never works. I have had success when I toned down my messaging and reach and focused on niche groups of people.

What online printing company is best for people looking to make merch?
They are still around!? I remember using their company so long ago, must have been like 17 years ago I think. It was for a school event. My sister (teacher)needed some shirts for her class and they did a great job.

Does e-mail marketing still work?
So it is more useful once you have a flow of content, consumers/customers, or just general readers depending on which niche you are under? I know I have used it in the past with success but I haven't used it in so many years at this point I didn't know if it was worth putting time into or not.

Is X a good platform for businesses or should I stick with Facebook?
And that is where it shines. Think of Facebook marketplace. A lot of local businesses thrive on there because it helps people find things in their area. Plus, if you run ads you can also target your own location and people in the surrounding areas.

Can Grok help with workflow and bouncing off ideas?
Is there any way to test it without paying for it or do I have to have the premium feature to access it? I just don't want to spend money to find out it isn't any use for me.

Only have $500 for marketing a launch. Where do you spend it?
Based on everything I know and have looked into myself, I would say to spend it on Facebook or X ads. Maybe both depending on your niche. Both platforms offer targeting ads that can really be useful to get right to your target audience. I have seen so many success stories from both.

Which WordPress Plugins are best for web store?
I haven't used WordPress in 5 or so years at this point so there might be something newer/better but when I was using it, WooCommerce was still considered the best. And at the time it was also free so I would imagine it still is.

Are there any other platforms like Craigslist?
I guess I should ask if there are any other platforms like Craigslist other than maybe say Facebook marketplace or eBay. I believe those are the only two similar sites. I have an online business idea that involves a similar platform. However, it is for a specific niche. Basically it is a platform strictly for people who are into collections, gaming, and anime/manga. So things like LEGOs, Pokemon cards, Star Wars merch, old and new consoles, PC gaming parts, controllers, as well as things from popular anime franchises like DBZ, One Punch Man, etc. etc. My brother and I have been bouncing ideas off each other but I am not sure if this is something that could work or not.

Can Grok help with workflow and bouncing off ideas?
I think Grok is pay-walled at this point so I would need to get my X account verified. I am curious of how it is coming along and if it is worth paying monthly to have access to. I have heard mixed things. Some also say it is the best AI model there is because it has constant new information on the platform itself to learn from which does make sense but other AI systems use places like Reddit which offers the same thing, just with a bit of a different feel. Does anyone use Grok here? Is it any good? 🤔

I stopped using long AI prompts (Try It)
I found this out myself. If you keep it simple, the AI can follow instructions and you can add to it as you go if you need to. If you overload it with commands early on, you end up with a jumbled mess. Glad I am not the only one noticing this!

Is X a good platform for businesses or should I stick with Facebook?
I think Facebook is better for smaller businesses and X is better for larger businesses, especially chain franchises, gaming, and the tech industry. I don't see very many people using X for small businesses anymore because the algorithm seems to favor other things. At least in my experience. I am still going to attempt to make use of it though.

Does e-mail marketing still work?
I noticed this maybe 6 or 7 years ago through my employer that responses and clicks are both down via e-mail marketing. Now I am sure in certain areas it still works fine, but with better spam filters and people having more control over what they do and don't see, I feel like a lot of marketing via e-mail has died. I am sure there are better more nuance approaches to it today than there was 10 or even 20 years ago. I am just not sure what they even are. Is e-mail marketing still worth investing time into?

Hello, I am Dave!
Hey guys and gals. I am new here. Figured this was a good place to start 😀 So without making this thing the length of a book, in 2021 I started exploring ideas and concepts for becoming an entrepreneur. I was stuck working from home and while I hated it at first, I ended up enjoying it over time. I found I was more productive, less stressed, and just more motivated. We were all told to come back to the office at the start of 2023 and I have hated it since. I kept looking into options and ideas, and while I have some good ones and some decent goals here... I am at a loss where to go with it all. Hoping I can learn a bit about how to best get the ball rolling via this forum. I am looking forward to chatting with everyone!
