I am talking about places like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms that allow for video posting.

I want to compile a list and do some experimenting with a few sites I have and see if I can replicate some virality and boost traffic using the same or similar trends to the big platforms.

Overall? It appears to be vlogging. I have seen new channels on YouTube blow up in only a few months and they focus on vlogging their day to day life, travels, etc.

Outside of that, outdoor videos do well. Things that focus on nature, camping, etc. and an overlapping niche is educational. Videos that teach you something always do well.

This is kind of what I was thinking but not hoping. I am not a vlogger type of person and wouldn't want this kind of channel but they do seem to be insanely popular. I always see "clean with me" videos being promoted on YouTube which is weird.

They are promoted because of the watch time. If people stick with the videos for over 50% of the time, then YouTube pushes them. I am starting to see more stuff I normally wouldn't as well but this is because of the suggestions being on.

AI and general Tech are both up there. I think if you are going to do a channel for anything, that should be one to consider. A lot of people do great just reviewing tech products and you can be as niche as you want. You can focus on just phones, or drones, or computer parts, heck you could even just do a channel about reviewing and testing wires!

In order to review tech products, you need money to invest into them. lol I don't have spare cash to do that or I would. I do like testing new products but the stuff that would make sense to do for me would be too costly.

Fair enough. You can do cheap stuff though. Like knock-off brands and what not. But if you have absolutely nothing to spare, then this isn't a good option you are correct.
