Is TubeBuddy worth using still?
I think it only doesn't work when you don't know what to do with the tools and information it provides. I am considering using it just to see if I can figure out my channel but I am still on the fence only because I might try something different entirely first for a channel idea.

Why is Hootsuite so expensive?
It didn't used to be. They did a few price increases. The company I work for used them for a number of years and stopped when the monthly cost nearly doubled in 2023. I think they can get away with it because they offer a lot and it is priced to be more for teams and companies than individuals.

What lessons have you learned when it comes to traffic and ranking on Google?
That is fair to say I guess. I mean if it was easy or worked every time, people wouldn't be having this problem on such a wide scale. It sucks when you put so much time into something to just see it tank.

Can paid traffic help?
Did you try it yet? Curious to see how it went for you. I am heard that there are some changes on X with the algorithm and it might be worth doing it there. I am not entirely sure how it works there though but I do know they default boost you if you are verified.

Gaining an audience on YouTube to earn through the partner program...
That is the issue with trying to earn through YouTube. You have to be cool with making videos that get no pay and sometimes no views either. I am learning this more and more. I am trying to experiment with different tips people give but have yet to see any substantial growth.

Options outside of Google AdSense?
Is this because their search engine isn't used as much? I figured it was similar in what you could make cause ads are ads. I'll have to see how this breakdowns. I am curious what the differences actually are.

Can paid traffic help?
Paid traffic is fine for new sites but not established ones. You won't get any benefit from it. I think paying for social media account boosting is more worth it. Maybe set up some socials for your blogs and try boosting those.
-
Can you save a blog that lost 90% of its traffic?
This is correct. I have seen people do it and it works. It is not guaranteed to work but if you feel your blogs are worth saving, then put in the time. I have tried this before a number of years ago and couldn't get it to work out for mine. I gave it a year and a half and just stopped bothering with the blog entirely. Eventually I just shut it down.
-
How often do you run sales to encourage purchases?
I have done sales in the past and they can boost things but I find that you need to actually have an established business or products for them to matter more. If you don't have many people showing up to buy your products or services, you just end up losing money.
-
When is it time to hire help?
I was actually on the other end of this and got hired by someone that outsourced for work. It was just for 3 months but it was a learning experience for us both. At first, there was tons of work and then it tapered off but I still made the same pay throughout.
-
What did you only understand after struggling with social media marketing?
Well, being active matters. Not just making posts but interactions. If you don't make an effort to go into other people's posts or follow other accounts and show up in the comments, you end up missing out on a lot of growth opportunity.
-
What lessons have you learned when it comes to traffic and ranking on Google?
You just have to copy the same format. Make your site seem more authoritative on the niche you are in by linking to your own content for one. There are a number of tricks to this but it does take time. Most people don't want to put in the time.

Gaining an audience on YouTube to earn through the partner program...
Oh okay, right shorter makes sense. I guess I get throw a few out there and see what happens. I am not going to bank on them doing anything substantial but if they get me more subs and views on my main videos, it is probably worth it.
-
What online printing company is best for people looking to make merch?
Yeah but I think ads work a bit differently. They have a more prolonged effect like if someone see's fast food being advertised to them, they are more likely to eat it in the coming week because it put the thought in their head.

What lessons have you learned when it comes to traffic and ranking on Google?
Well, search intent as well as content quality are more important than actual keyword amounts. I remember reading that you want to focus on "EAT". This is Expertise, Authoritative, and Trustworthy. When you site or content online has some level of each, it helps boost it a lot.
