The niche is in gaming, without getting into specifics. I am trying to find a way to get more followers and more interactions so I can not only redirect people to my website but hopefully do sponsorship posting for big companies in the same niche. I have not used IG in years and only recently just started this account. I only have a handful of followers. How do I get these numbers up?

I have since stopped using it as much but I can tell you the most important thing on there is to be consistent with your content and make sure it is good quality. Commenting on other people's posts helps boost yours too.

I never have with my accounts and they do just fine but I guess this is something that Instagram pushing themselves so it is a good idea to put time into it now.

I don't think it is so much about likes as it is views and interactions now. Likes can be easily botted so social sites don't use it as a metric for promotion as much anymore.

I wasn't trying to lolWhat I mean by this, is I am not sure what I did to make it work. I was just active on it often enough and it got larger as time went on. It also helped that some of my friends were boosting the activity. We were making jokes and having conversations in the comments so the posts looked more popular than they probably were.

A lot of people just do it as a means to get sponsorships cause that is where the real money is. But since everyone is trying it, everyone is all using the same tricks and they just don't work like they once did. So I am not sure what works anymore.

Hashtags don't matter anymore IMO. I think if you look for the best words to use for your niche it can help a lot.

I am not a heavy Instagram user but I was considering going back to my older account and refreshing it to give a boost to my YouTube channel. I noticed a lot of people saying to get conversations and stuff going in the comments.

They likely promote them more because they want to take people away from other platforms like TikTok.Was it Twitter that bought Vine? I still wish they would have kept that around. It was the only video platform I liked.

You can save directly on 9GAG if you are signed in but you will have to use a secondary site to download Reddit videos.
